For the festive season in Gloucester, we are delighted to be involved with the Spiegeltent in Kings Square. The impressive timber and canvas construction is adorned with stained glass and mirror detail. Peak Hire provided the house lighting rig, all site lighting and electrical services, and for each of the entertainment evenings, full sound and stage lighting support.

The Centaur is the award-winning 2600 square metre venue at Cheltenham Racecourse, and featured recently a run of corporate Christmas Party evenings. Peak Hire were engaged to provide sound and lighting equipment to supplement the in-house rigs. We used Martin Mac700 wash and profile moving heads, Shure ULX radiomics, EAW subs and a demo Venue SC48 sound desk from Digidesign, possibly soon to become part of our hire stock following full evaluation.

Power provision includes supplies to stage lighting and sound, audio-visual, foyer concessions, bar, toilets, heating, worklights, floodlights, emergency lighting and  dressing rooms. The distributed power is fed from three generators, including full production power emergency backup.

The panto runs from 5th December to 17th January, and the big top arena will also be used for individual shows by Jane McDonald, Rick Wakeman, Hayley Westenra and Snow White on Ice.

Once again we were delighted to service the sound and lighting requirements for the fantastic 2000 Trees Festival at Withington. St Albans, 60m big top, 1500 guests from the UK, France, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands, a medieval banquet, live bands Fox Hat and Coverstar, and DJ. For five days Peak Hire provided all stage sound, production lighting, site lighting, emergency and amenity lighting, site power systems, generators and on site carpentry.
